Financial aid file completion deadlines: To allow for processing time and funds to be available by the tuition due date, completed files must be submitted to the Financial Aid office by:

Documents submitted by

Completed files consist of a completed FAFSA, completed BMCC FAIR letter, and other documentation requested by the Financial Aid office on your Student Wolfweb.

Applications will be accepted after the above dates. However, eligibility may not be determined in enough time to pay tuition and fees prior to the beginning of the term. If an applicant is eligible for aid, the award will be made retroactive.  If you miss this date, you MUST be prepared to purchase books and supplies, and set up an installment plan for your tuition and fees according to college tuition deadlines.  If out-of-pocket expenses are not reasonable, you should consider postponing enrollment until the next term, or at such time that your finances allow.

Looking for a financial aid award?  If you have already completed your 2014 -2015 FAFSA, your patience is greatly appreciated. Watch your e-mail for notifications and monitor your WolfWeb account for status updates and requests for information. There you will be able to see what documents are still needed or if an award has been generated. During this peak processing time of year you can expect approximately 8 - 10 weeks from the date you submit your last requested document until an award is generated.
