What is the MLK Day of Service?

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'"

Each year, Americans across the country answer that question by coming together on the King Holiday to serve their neighbors and communities.

Click here to find out about the President's national call to service which calls for Americans from all walks of life to work together to provide solutions to our most pressing national problems.

I wish more people would remember what he said and ask themselves what they are doing for other people then constantly asking what others can do for them. It is really very sad and should change.

Dr Martin Luther King Jr said a lot of great things against the truth but I am not so sure he would be happy with the way people are behaving today.
