In honor of BMCC's 50th Anniversary, come see "the way we were."  The Library has a display of popular culture items--magazines, toys, books, etc.--from 1962.

On a two-year loan to the Library is a metal sculpture by former BMCC Art instructor, Bruce Guiwits (1939-2009).  The sculpture is called Black Tie and is installed in the seating area in the back of the library, nicely situated in front of floor-to-ceiling windows where it can be seen from outside the Library, too.

Want more resources? How about a full collection of thousands of books and videos? Access to materials from all over the world? How?  Read on . . .

The BMCC Library has an extensive collection of books, videos, and DVDs, and more on both scholarly and popular topics.  The best way to find out what we've got is to check our online catalog. Once you find what you want, just use your BMCC Student Library Barcode to borrow.

Didn't find what you wanted in our catalog? We can also order titles from libraries all over the world! Start by searching our partner libraries in the SAGE consortium. If you still come up dry, try the WorldCat service to find what you need and have it shipped to BMCC for you to check out with your BMCC Student Library Barcode.  Even better, it's FREE.

When you just can't make it to campus to get that research done, we've put the research online for you! Our Online Article Databases give you access to thousands of articles from references works, scholarly journals, and popular magazines. All you need is your BMCC Student Library Barcode for access anywhere, anytime.

We've got lots more services; check them out right now on our BMCC Library website: www.bluecc.edu/library
