Got Kidney?

Not every college library would post pictures of giant, fake internal organs on its website. We know what you Anatomy and Physiology students want to see, though, so here's the latest update on the anatomical models available for BMCC student use in the library.

We now have a liver model, a kidney model, and a board displaying the kidney and nephron.

These are available for BMCC student use inside the library during our normal hours. Just bring your BMCC Student Library Card to the Circulation Desk and ask for the model you want.

Need a quick review? Check out these articles for more info on what kidneys do for the human body, or take a closer look at kidneys. (More articles like these are available on tons of subjects through the library's journal databases.)

Sorry, forget my last comment, I neglected to scroll down to see the other organs. I apologize!

No problem. Thanks for keeping tabs on and making sure we get it right!

I just wanted to mention that the organ pictured is not a kidney, it's a liver :)
