HELP!!! CALLING ALL WIIMOTES!!!

AAAUGH!!! 48 hours to GAME ON and we're low on Wii controllers! We need your help to make Wii open play a reality!

In order to make a Wii available for open play on November 14, we'll need some help from you Nintendo fans. Bring your Wiimotes, nunchucks, guitars, and other Wii controllers to share and give everyone a chance to play! At the tournament we'll have a quick release form for you to fill out, then we'll be able to use your controllers for shared play on the library-provided Wii console. Heck, bring extra controllers for the Guitar Hero 5 and Mario Kart Wii tournaments, too. After a quick inspection, we can probably let you use them! Post a comment to let us know what you're bringing!

We've still got slots open in both tournaments, but they're filling up! Sign up now to play in either or both tournaments, or come into the library to see the tournament brackets and sign up. Remember, each tournament is limited to the first 24 players to register; don't be left out!

Don't forget about all the other awesomeness at the event:

  • Even more open play consoles! XBox, PS2, even old school N64 and Atari!
  • Handhelds lounge! PSP, DS, GBA -- link up with your opponents and play, trade, or just chat!
  • Prizes for tournament winners from local businesses!
  • FREE PIZZA!

We pomised we'd update everyone on the tournament prizes, so keep an eye on this blog for more info! We'll be posting up profiles of the goodies soon . . .

COUNTDOWN: 2 days until . . . GAME ON!

Very interesting blog, bookmarked for the future referrence, what template do you use ?

ejensen:

Thanks! We use a simple, in-library-designed template within the college's blog framework.

I love your use of "The Scream", it's an awesome painting.

ejensen:

Thanks! Nothing like a shot of expressionism to spice up your blog! ;)
