To be eligible for the Grade Renewal Policy, you must have:
Returned to Blue Mountain Community College and after an absence of at least two years; AND
Subsequently passed two terms of work consisting of at least twelve credits each quarter. You must have passed each of these terms with a term grade point average (GPA) of a 2.00 or better; AND
Registered for courses during the term in which this request is being made.
If this petition is accepted, all terms prior to the term and year listed below, will be changed to “NC”. All courses previously taken will remain on the grade transcript and the cumulative GPA will be adjusted. A notation will appear on the grade transcript indicating that the Grade Renewal Policy was implemented.
NOTE: Students receiving federal financial aid should consult the Financial Office prior to requesting this option as it may affect their ability to receive or continue to receive federal aid.
