Disbursement of Funds (Stipends/Refunds)
Generally, student aid (grants, scholarships, loans) will be posted to student accounts approximately one week prior to the first of the term. Tuition and fees will be deducted and any balance remaining will be wired to BankMobile the last business day prior to the first day of the term.
BMCC has partnered with BankMobile to deliver students' financial stipend/refund. When it comes to deciding how to get your money, you deserve choices.
Your choices include:
DEPOSIT TO AN EXISTING ACCOUNT – Money is transferred to your existing checking or savings account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from BMCC. Typically, it takes 1 – 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.
A paper check option is also available from BankMobile.

To Get Started:
After you enroll for classes, BankMobile will send you the Refund Selection Kit. It will arrive in a bright green envelope and contain your Personal Code. In addition to the Refund Selection Kit, you will also receive an email from BankMobile containing your Personal Code. Once you have your code, follow these easy steps:
- Visit refundselection.com
- Enter your unique Personal Code from the green envelope or email
- Select how you'd like to receive your money
If no preference has been selected by the student, BMCC will mail the student a check. For disbursement dates information, please see Dates and Deadlines.
Contact the Financial Aid office if you have not received the envelope. You should receive the envelope at least two weeks after you registered for classes.
