Disbursement of Funds (Stipends/Refunds)

Generally, student aid (grants, scholarships, loans) will be posted to student accounts by the first day of the term. Tuition and fees will be deducted and any balance remaining will be wired to BankMobile as indicated on the academic calendar (first stipend date).

BMCC has partnered with BankMobile to deliver students' financial stipend/refund. When it comes to deciding how to get your money, you deserve choices. 

Your choices include:

DEPOSIT TO AN EXISTING ACCOUNT – Money is transferred to your existing checking or savings account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from BMCC. Typically, it takes 1 – 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.

DEPOSIT TO A BANKMOBILE VIBE CHECKING ACCOUNT – If you open a BankMobile Vibe checking account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BankMobile receives funds from BMCC.

There is also a  paper check option.
