Engineering Transfer Program
BMCC’s Transfer Engineering Program is designed to meet the needs of students who are planning to attend four-year universities. Transfer students will focus on completing university requirements for math, science and writing, as well as engineering courses that have been identified by a university advisor.
BMCC’s CET students have successfully transferred to engineering programs at OSU, PSU, Univ. of Idaho and WSU. In all cases, the students worked directly with advisors at the transfer institution to identify courses that were required by the individual programs. BMCC also has transfer agreements with the following institutions for the bachelor degrees noted:
Boise State University - Construction Management
Boise State University - Mechanical Engineering
Boise State University - Civil Engineering
Oregon Institute of Technology - Civil Engineering
Oregon Institute of Technology - Geomatics (Surveying)
Transfer Program Requirements
Students planning to transfer to university programs must complete university expectations for reading, writing and mathematics. It is highly recommended students make early contact with an advisor at the institution to which they plan to transfer. Requirements at each institution may vary by engineering field and often undergo changes during the student’s time at BMCC.
