 College Prep ABS Purpose Statement:

The purpose of the Blue Mountain Community College (BMCC) Adult Basic Skills Education (ABSE) department is to provide BMCC service district students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to achieve their individual goals. The ABSE department is committed to supporting students in developing aptitude as workers, family and community members, and lifelong learners. Our goal is to help students integrate their prior knowledge with instruction in academics, technology, workforce, and life skills. We will help them transition to post-secondary education, training, certification, and work through research-based best practices.
