Nurse Educator Associate

This position requires a demonstration of competency in nursing, clinical practice, and teaching.  It provides instruction in the application of critical thinking and skills learned in Pharmacology, Nursing Theory and Health Assessment.  It provides instruction, supervision, and evaluation of students’ mastery of clinical nursing. Instruction is for student nurses in an Associate of Nursing Degree program.

Salary: based on Faculty Salary Scale

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school with two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Must hold a valid unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oregon and Washington
• Must meet qualifications set forth by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Must successfully complete a criminal history clearance prior to beginning employment.
• Valid driver’s license 

Preferred Experience:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• 3 years clinical and 3 years teaching experience in Acute Care Medical-Surgical Nursing
