Salary: $58,000 - $68,000

The Controller has the overall responsibility and authority for controlling and reporting on the financial activities of the college.  Develops and implements the financial control policies, processes, and procedures for the college and manages overall business and accounting functions, budgeting and reporting, auditing, purchasing, procurement, contracting, grants, property, document control and records management to programs/departments.  Assists the chief financial officer for the college and reports directly to the chief budget officer (the President).  The Controller participates in planning at the strategic level and coordinates the development of a business plan and a budget that enable the strategic goals and objectives of the college, and establishes the controls necessary to effectively and efficiently manage the business plan and oversee budget expenditures. Performs all functions and activities within the guidelines and philosophy set forth in the BMCC Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan.Position closes at 5pm Thursday, June 21, 2012.
