Job Title: Parks & Rec. Program Aide

Job Description/Duties:
Assist with events such as the Halloween Carnival, and Family Bowling Events, as well as facility rentals such as wedding receptions, birthday parties, etc. Person in this position may help with scheduling, preparation, set up, coordination, clean up and other activities associated with these events. Clerical/technology tasks such as compiling data (facility user visits, hours to bill for regular users, volunteer hours and other monthly tasks), calls to customers regarding class changes or as part of a customer satisfaction survey, possibly making and distributing promotional posters, as well as helping us to distribute our brochures and flyers to the schools. Occasional back-up receptionist duties at the parks office. Various organizational projects and light janitorial tasks may be necessary on an occasion. If candidate has photography skills, they might help us to build our photo collection for future brochures, FB, volunteer appreciation, etc.

Special Skills:
High School Diploma or GED, Upbeat attitude, flexible and willing to learn and do a different job each day, organized, dependable, computer literate.

Terms Needed: Winter & Spring

Other Info:
The P & R department is somewhat flexible with the days and hours that the work study is able to work, but they would need to be available for work on every Wednesday or Thursday for a block of time.
