Taste of the region coming to BMCC’s 2nd annual Imbibe @Blue Feb. 16

The Blue Mountain Community College Foundation invites the public to indulge itself at the 2nd annual “Imbibe @Blue” event on Saturday, Feb. 16, to raise money for student scholarships. The Mardi Gras-themed tasting event, sponsored by CHI St. Anthony Hospital, will invite ticketholders to sample some of the region’s craft distilled spirits, beers, wines, ciders, chocolates and cheeses all in one location in the Student Union at the BMCC Pendleton campus. Pre-sale tickets are available now.

The 21 and over “casual-dressy” event has a Mardi Gras theme this year, and is sponsored by CHI St. Anthony Hospital, Oregon Grain Growers Brand Distillery, Elkhorn Media Group, Creative Signs and Sylvia Clawson. Just 150 tickets are available. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now for $25 at Pendleton Art + Frame, the BMCC Bookstore and by calling the BMCC Foundation, 541-278-5775. Remaining tickets will also be available at the door for $30. Tickets include a special wine or pint glass, all tastes, and hearty Cajun-inspired appetizers by Simply Catering. Full glasses and bottles will be available for purchase at the event.
