Women's History Month
In recognition of Women's History Month, Blue Mountain Community College's Diversity Committee presents the following:
Wednesday 2/26 11-12 in the Theatre-- Barbara Roberts: "Looking Back, Moving Forward."
The Honorable Barbara Roberts will be presenting her perspectives on the lack of recognition of Women's roles in shaping the American West.
Living Voices is a Seattle based Theater Production group that combines one-person acting, video and audience interaction with historical events to produce thoughtful and inspiring presentations. "Hear my Voice" focuses on the Women's Suffrage Movement; "The New American" follows a young Irish woman's immigration experience to America.
Tuesday, 3/11 Noon on the BMCC/HERMISTON CAMPUS (EOHEC) RM 231.--"Voices of Hope."
Voices of Hope brings awareness on issues of women, power, and poverty in Africa.
