First Time College Students

Getting started at BMCC is easy! Complete each of the following. If you have questions or need assistance please contact our Service Center at 541-278-5759.  We are here to help!


Apply for Admission: Complete your online application. Admission is free!

Placement Assessments: Take your assessments at any BMCC location. Testing dates and times. BMCC also offers a variety of alternatives to meet this requirement. To view options go to Placement Assessment Options 

Online New Student Orientation (NSO): Once you have completed your online application you will receive a link to complete your online NSO.

Apply for Financial Aid: Complete the FAFSA at FAFSA**BMCC’s School Code is: 003186** If you have already completed your FAFSA your Success Coach or one of our Service Specialists can show you how to check your status online.

Meet with Your Success Coach: Once you have completed the NSO you will receive an email or phone call to schedule a time to meet with your Success Coach.

Register for Classes: Register online by logging on to the WolfWeb!

Immunization Requirements: In accordance with ORS 433.283 and Health Division OAR 333-050-0140, community college students involved in clinical experiences in allied health programs, practicum experiences in education and early child car programs and membership on intercollegiate sports teams must have two doses of measles prior to participation. This requirement applies only to those students born on or after January 1, 1957. See Immunization Requirements for more information.
