Thank you for your interest in the Nursing program at Blue Mountain Community College. The nursing program is both exciting and challenging; offering graduates opportunities for employment in a variety of settings and for a lifelong career that is personally fulfilling. Success in the program requires a strong commitment and may pose unique personal as well as academic challenges. Nursing is a demanding field and admission to any nursing school is a very competitive process. We strongly encourage you to prepare well by meeting with our pre-nursing advisor to help you with your educational plan, reading through the application materials thoroughly, and talking with nurses in various healthcare settings to get an idea of what a nursing career might entail.
