Blue Mountain Community College’s CDL training program is part of a $1,220,423 grant (paying 70% of the total project cost), awarded under the President’s Community-Based Job Training Grants, as implemented by the US Department of Labors’ Employment & Training Administration, so tuition for the CDL courses is free to those who qualify. Preference is given to veterans and spouses of veterans. The goal of the grant is to provide workforce training, so preference is given to those most employable in the private trucking sector.
