Small Class Sizes

BMCC is a small community college. Although the college serves over 13,000 students a year, only about 3,000 students are degree/certificate-seeking students who take classes each term. The number may seem daunting, but guess what? Most classes have less than 30 students per class, so students can get to know each other and their instructors.

Having small class sizes taught by well-qualified faculty mean you’ll be treated like a 'somebody' instead of just an anybody. No huge lecture halls and no classes taught by student assistants.
