The associate of general studies (A.G.S.) degree is a non-designated degree that requires a minimum of 90 credit hours. The candidate for the A.G.S. must understand that the degree is not a transfer degree, although some or possibly all of the courses may be accepted by another institution. General education requirements are designed to meet the core competencies outlined by the Statement of Student Outcomes.
