Prior to coming to BMCC, Coach Bequette was head coach of the Hermiston High School Bulldogs in Hermiston, Oregon. Coach Bequette has over 15 years of coaching experience that includes:

• 7 National appearances at the ASA "A" level.
• 3 National appearances at the ASA "Gold" level.
• 5 Intermountain Conference titles in 7 years at HHS.
• 4 time Intermountain Conference Coach of the Year.
• 2 time Oregon State 4A Softball Coach of the Year.
• 2002-2003 State of Oregon Coach of the Year for all female athletics.
• Former hitting instructor for Olympic coach Ralph Weekly.
• Over 600 games as head coach at both the ASA and High School levels.

Coach Bequette's main focus will be on preparing his players for challenges that come with being a college student, as well as a college athlete. Between the chalk lines, whether it be during practice or a game, Coach Bequette will create a fun, intensely competitive atmosphere that will prepare his student athletes for their transition to a four year institution. Along the way, Coach Bequette will foster an atmosphere where hard work breeds confidence and confidence breeds success.
