Associate Vice President, Instruction Administers education projects and programs, and is responsible for the direct supervision of full-time and part-time faculty as assigned by the Vice President of Instruction. Coordinates recruitment, hiring and evaluation of faculty following BMCC procedures and collective bargaining agreements if applicable. Provides leadership and vision in areas including: Development and coordination of curriculum, including fostering the development of program and course learning outcomes, course scheduling, including the implementation of strategic enrollment management for analysis and scheduling management, collaboratively assist academic departments in creating a budget and operating within it, program review and strategic planning, assessment of learning, faculty evaluation and professional development, instructional support, and assist in the marketing of academic programs. Requirements include a Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred), and a minimum two years experience teaching at the post-secondary level. Two (2) years experience in academic program administration is preferred. Position is full-time, 12 months per year with excellent benefits. Pay range is $58,000 to $63,000 per year. Part-time Instructors BMCC seeks applications year round for the Part-Time Instructor Pool. Assignment(s) may include day and/or evening courses, weekdays and/or weekends, face-to-face and/or distance-delivered instruction. Adult Basic Education/GED Instructor Part-Time Adult Basic Education/GED Instructors needed in John Day Instruct ABE and GED programs and possible skills development courses in Language Arts and Math. Conduct and evaluate student assessments. Coordinate course materials and syllabus. BA/BS degree in education required. Experience in GED instruction and Master’s degree is preferred. Nursing Instructor Full Time Faculty position in Pendleton Salary: Commensurate with qualifications, based on Faculty Salary Scale BMCC seeks multi-talented energetic Full-Time (tenure track) Nursing Instructor to instruct students in an Associate of Nursing Degree program. Ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in medical/surgical Nursing. Duties include lecture/theory courses, supervision of first and second year nursing students in clinical settings and assisting with instruction of basic nursing skills and skills labs. Position is open until filled; applications will be reviewed upon receipt. Required Qualifications: • Masters Degree in Nursing and three (3) years of nursing experience. • Must meet qualifications set forth by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. • Must hold an unencumbered Registered Nurse license, or be eligible to obtain a license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oregon and Washington states within 45 days of employment. • Must successfully complete a criminal history clearance prior to beginning employment. • Valid Oregon driver’s license within 45 days of employment Preferred Experience: • Equivalency of three (3) years full-time hospital practice and three (3) years teaching experience in Medical-Surgical nursing • Teaching experience in nursing theory at the fundamental and advanced levels. Bookkeeper Full Time position in Pendleton Salary: $12.83 per hour This position is responsible for assisting the Senior Operations Accountant in providing and preparing accounting information for the College. Responsible for monitoring various general ledger accounts and preparing reports and schedules for audit and financial reporting purposes. Coordinator JOBS BMCC Hermiston/Boardman Full Time position in Hermiston and Boardman Salary: $37,900 - $44,500 Coordinates and supervises JOBS sites at BMCC Hermiston/Boardman. Directs and monitors the activities of participants in selected portions of the JOBS program (teens, adults, bilingual) from the initial referral throughout program participation.
