Getting Started with College & Career Preparation

Program Requirements:

  • Students must be at least 16 years of age to register.
  • Due to COVID-19, classes may be virtual. In order to attend classes, students will need internet access and a laptop/computer.
    • If you don’t have access to internet or a computer, let us know! We can work with you! 

What are your first steps?!

  1. Let us know you’re interested by completing our Interest & Information Form.
  2. New students must apply for admissions.

ELA is for all levels of non-native English speaking students to improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

GED preparation classes prepare students to take the GED Test.  

How long does the program take?

The length of an individual program depends upon how much time and effort a student devotes to studying, and the level at which the student begins. 

GED Test Fast Facts: 

  • A GED certificate is equivalent to a high school diploma. 
  • To earn a GED Certificate, candidates must receive a passing score in all four subjects:
    • Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA)
    • Mathematical Reasoning
    •  Science
    • Social Studies
  • Testing Accommodations are available and scheduled through GED.com
  • The GED test can be taken in English Or Spanish
