Blue Mountain Community College

The Blue Mountain Community College Foundation celebrated their annual scholarship reception April 27, 2011.  The foundation received contributions of $184,155.00 in 2010 and assisted over 200 students with scholarship funding.  The Foundation just received word today of a grant of $50,000 from the James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation.  This is the third year that the Foundation has raised enough funds to meet this match.  Director Margaret Gianotti quotes” I can’t express enough gratitude to the community, our faculty, and staff and the Miller Foundation for making these scholarships possible.  It allows our dedicated community college students to go on to a four year degree or start in the work force with a family wage career.”
