In response to requests from the medical community, Blue Mountain Community College is offering two special interest night classes.   Medical Billing and Coding classes start April 7; EKG Technician classes start April 6. 

Medical Billing and Coding teaches skills needed to solve insurance billing problems, how to manually file claims, complete common insurance forms, trace delinquent claims, appeal denied claims and use generic forms to streamline billing procedures.  The class prepares students to sit for professional certification exams.

EKG Technician classes prepare students to function as EKG technicians and to take the American Society of Phlebotomy Technician – Electrocardiograph Technician and other national certification exams.
